I got these messages today from PV:

"Weather conditions have become favourable for the Grampians National Park prescribed burning program to commence. There was a burn completed yesterday near the Halls Gap Golf course which was very successful .

Other burns planned for this week are:
Carter track burn - 553 hectares between the Mt Difficult Road and Roses Creek Road
Dunkeld burn - 71 hectares on the Dunkeld Road, North of Mt Abrupt."

and

"Staff have patrolled the area burnt from the prescribed burn near Halls Gap yesterday, and they have found a small patch of unburnt forest that needs burning. Crews will be burning this area today.

The wind is currently blowing from a NE direction and Halls Gap may be covered by the smoke from this burn."
