I found it pretty hard to find my way around the gorge using the craglets guide. As soon as you get off the main track there are a thousand goat tracks going every which way, and there is rock all over the place below you.
I ended up having a bit of an epic rapping in to the wrong area and then my wife let our bag slip down the hill to land on a rock ledge at the waters edge 30m below us. On the way the bag had openned littering all our gear evenly over the shrubby steep 30m. Our camera got trashed but surprisingly we recovered everything else.
Great climbing though :-) |
