the question is: why did Parks make this decision? were there complaints from the council or is it just an opinion of the parks that the non-sorting was an issue? some people think that there is a process of sorting done by the recycling plant anyway. ( which would mean that the laziness of some of the climbers at arapiles isn't problematic). it is sad to think that this situation means that it is easier for the people who don't care about recycling (as they don't have to feel any guilt or confusion over where to put their rubbish) and trickier for the people who do care (especially if they are carless). it is true, one can carry one's rubbish out, but why make things harder for the conscious?
