The main thing you need to be aware of is dehydration. Sweat rates vary from 1 to 3 litres per hour, though 3 litres is at the upper end of the scale.
As little as 3% dehydration is enough to impair your performance - this has been shown in research with respect to skill based sports as well as endurance performance. Could be very decisive when looking for the spot to place that next piece of pro! |
