It boils down to evolution and this can be directly assessed by the amount of clothing said climber is wearing.

At one stage it was enough simply to wear a brightly colored beanie to distinguish oneself from those less evolved and inferior sub species of climber - the traddie, the sport and a rarer though no less degenerate specimen known as the aid climber.

However things change, life evolves, a long black before a day out becomes a double shot skinny soy macciato (hold the sprinkles) and clothing is removed to further enhance and define ones genetic supremacy.

Language also plays its part with the lower primitives being quite unable to comprehend the wide ranging and subtle nuances associated with such vocality as "rad" and "sic" and "cherry".

So whilst there is nothing to stop oneself from displaying ones poorer character in a such a temple it does beget oneself to remember to brings ones toothbrush so as to scrub the holds for the betters and prostate oneself in postions maximally suited for impact absorption of any falling deity.
