I can understand what your saying Steph, I suspect it's partially related to gym usuage, how often the holds are washed, the texture of hold and also how well ventilated (cooled) the gym is. With the 3 gyms I've used on a regular basis at some stage, I haven't really found the need for chalking up on a regular basis, I think I'm on my 2nd or 3rd chalk ball in 12 years of regular indoor climbing. |
