Theres a couple of problems at castle hill that fall into this problem. We all know the general rationale is to mantle the low side, that is the lead mantle leg goes to teh lowest part of the topout your trying to mantle to give you the most leverage to heave over.
However there are a couple of problems up there where you mantle the high side to get up because theres no moves/ holds that allow the low side mantle to be setup. Its a weird feeling like your upside down and swimming backward to get over. Cool stuff. |
