It's been awesome to finally read an alternative home grown alternative to Rock. I bought the last copy from the Mtn Shop in Nati and picked up #2 from Bogong yesterday morning. The topo of Taipan has me all inspired to crank / crimp harder and get out there! I also agree with some of BP's criticisms and believe for Crux to develop it has some work to do to develop past the likelihood of becoming a magazine for mates aka Rock.... well, maybe that's a cheap shot! Still, remember Crux is wholly written by volunteers - if we all want it to continue / improve, then we ahould all contribute something. Surely the greater the diversity of writers / submitters, the greater the of diversity of opinion expressed in the mag, as here on Chockstone? It seems Crux has been only too open and encouraging about getting more of us to contribute something. I'm sure the writers don't really want to do it all themselves anyway and would rather read other people's stuff. So if we are all so keen about this mag, let's chip in something to help it out once its got over its honeymoon period ..... having said that though, dunno what I'll contribute! D'oh, bugger...
