yes, well, that's exactly the language that gets climbers a bad name. Especially US climbers. Come on and honour our recently departed Aussie icon and simply say "Crikey"! or "Strewth, call that a snake?" Apart from the (endangered) Broad Headed Snake that lives near Eternity at Piddo, I've seen a fair few other snakes around the Blue Mountains. I've seen Brown and Tiger snakes on the tracks and probably a python or two. Out at the Fortress (Grose Valley) I've seen a BIG snake climbing a vegetated crack on a very high rock face. There's also a popular climb out at the Wolgan "Monitor Madness" which sometimes features a VERY LARGE Lizard (think person sized) that can solo grade 19...
