Again not stupid, just funny but HE felt stupid. A while ago on a trip to Girraween I led a great 35+ metre 14. The slab had ONE carrot on it. Nice climb too.. Got to the top, rigged the belay and up came my 2nd.. He gets to THE bolt, I , hear F&*#, followed by Ting ting bing cling tsing then silence. What's wrong I yelled. NOTHING I hear back. I let him continue up but when he arrived I asked for my bolt plate back. It was sugested I should shut up. I let him know I couldn't believe he dropped the ONLY plate on the climb. Ralph
