Expressions of Interest for Members to Serve on the Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park Advisory Group – EOI 1193

Parks Victoria is committed to maintaining the health of the natural environment of our parks and reserves while providing a range of excellent visitor services – so that all Victorians can visit them to relax or exercise their bodies and minds – Healthy Parks, Healthy People.
Parks Victoria is calling for Expressions of Interest for members to serve on the Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park Advisory Group. Members will be skills-based and represent community interests.

The Advisory Group will provide advice to Parks Victoria on the strategic management of the Park.

Members will be selected on the basis of:
• Demonstrated involvement in community-based projects
• An ability to represent community interests
• Good communication skills.

The Advisory Group term is for a period of three years. Membership is on a voluntary basis. The Group would meet several times each year.

Applicants wishing to express interest, please apply in writing, briefly outlining your skills and experience in relation to the above criteria, and your interest in Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park. A one or two page letter is suggested. Respondents are to lodge their EOI documentation marked Attention: Mr John Harris, EOI 1193 by 5:00pm Friday 28 July 2006 to the Parks Victoria Stawell Office, PO Box 201, Stawell, 3380.
