Fellow Chockstoners, Am I the only person in Melbourne who goes into 'outdoor climbing hibination' during winter ? Firstly I must preface my remarks by stating I have been climbing for 30 odd years, and therefore struggle to stay motivated 12 months of the year. My favorite times of the year to climb are spring and autumn. I must also add that I do a bit of cross country skiing to help pass the time. Presently, I'm just rolling up to the gym and 'going through the motions'. Unlike some climbers I know, I actually have a life outside climbing (no offence intended). Has anyone got any tips as to how to 'keep the fire burning' during winter. Regards Jaded old dinosaur
