Almost agree with you One Day Hero, except a bashed in stainless carrot (they're called carrots for a reason, you people who are unfamilar with the concept) is just as good as a good peg, although care must be taken if you are a dogging type, as by getting your waste as close to the bolt and walking your feet up does put a large amount of outward force on them!
