Any Climbing Gyms in Newcastle |

Its not trad, but it is as steep as it gets- go to Buladelah cave.
There is a "crag" in Glenrock SRA with a bunch of bolted stuff. It can act like an outdoor gym. The rocks ordinary but the moves are fun, most of the routes are slightly overhung. There is an online guide at huntervalleyclimbers yahoo groups. Or contact one of the many climbers from Team Newcastle for beta.
The only good thing about the gym is its high. |
