I think this should be discussed... If a national Zine is coming from the climbing community as it seems it is (and as I'd personally like to see it), rather than as a commercial venture for any one party in particular, then I think it should be non-profit and set up in a way that stays that way (pretty much). For it to be sustainable in the long run then those contributing their time, effort and resources (design/editing/organising and other contributors) will probably need to be reimbursed along the way - and there may even be ad revenue in it too to help (but that also takes work)...

Ultimately I’d like to see a paid editor who is answerable to some sort of non-profit group. And what if it takes off and opportunities and ambitions arise to grow this into other areas – like print? Thoughts?
