I was pretty sceptical about buying a bit of gear for this purpose... but I bought one of these rope hooks overseas and now use it all the time and think it is awesome. I would seriously recommend getting two so each climber can have one when swinging leads. They only weigh a few grams and definately make rope management easier and cleaner. I also use one for my photography to quickly get the rope out of the way of my shots....
