Thanks Breezy – and everyone else – that’s kind of you. I’ll let Monique know.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get out climbing on Saturday so missed seeing the send, but we knew she was close and it was just a matter of time. Yeah, it probably had only seen 5 or 6 ascents before this which is not a lot considering where it is and how long it has been around. It gets 32 in the guide although there isn’t a clear consensus at the moment (some ascentionists have suggested it is easier - but then again some of our strongest who have seriously tried it have said that it isn’t). Monique put it at 32. Incidentally, she typically had to do the crux an entirely different way to everyone else. I think she tried it on about six days (not sure exactly; can check), which is faster than some of the other harder ones she’s done. It perfectly suited her best style and she’s very fit at the moment. Apparently after doing Theda Bara she hiked Superweak (the same day). She was happy.

I noticed Rock and Ice’s oversight too. But I also saw they published a correction mentioning her in the next issue.
