most people seem to do the walk in over two days (one day would be huge and you'd be knackered the next day anyway. say a day to french ridge hut, then another on to colin todd, then maybe plan for at most four days in colin todd to hope for good weather, then another two days to walk out (we did it out in a day, and even gong in in a day is feasable if you are very fit) (big mountaineering hint : get ludicrously fit, you'll be glad of it) SO allow about a week for the whole deal!
