Well what a thread we have - definitly gonna take some of this info on board for future. Had another similar prob today and ended up having to chop another tnut. Only this time i managed to break the hold whilst doing it - was hammering the bolt back through and it was little tight still because a part of the tnut was still on the bolt. Anyway hammered a little too hard and snap!
Oh well i guees ill just tell people i crushed it on some insane problem i was working.
