Ben, I sent you a PM weeks ago and was happy to explain this in private but anyway…

In regards to your comment re Garth, maybe this is the first such comment from you but completely unjustified Garth-bashing (jealousy?) has gone on for years (from certain specific quarters) and I’m sick of it. That’s why I don’t see the “joke”. That’s all.

Yep, we all make mistakes. Don’t worry, history is history and it’s nothing personal from me. I do believe it was important to take a stance on the chipping however – and that’s all I intend to say about that again (I trust).

That said however, (and it’s a big however), if you think my stance was “unfair”, or can’t see why I might see it as somehow important, then I suggest you should have put your name to your words and addressed the issue directly – or contacted me in private if you preferred. Because what I really don’t respect is when people hide behind aliases to deliberately start threads for personal attacks or insults. Your slagging of my calendar/photography (hence business) is but one example. Now of course one problem with such cabbage is that aliases can get found out and in this case I happen to know what you, Rowan, and Toby, have been up to earlier and several of the aliases. I take it that you guys don’t appreciate that I don’t accept your chipping, so you somehow think it’s OK to slag off my work, my friends, and much else besides? “Nice”. I’m not taking it personally but I just have no respect for that. I do expect that’s the end of it all and I won’t have to say any more about it.

Oh, I’ll just add that I can see you’ve had “help” from some most UN-helpful mates right throughout all this. So it is good to hear you sing your own tune.

Cheers,
Simon
