Well said A5, id like to add a point though. While its all very well doing new routes and not writing them up, i would consider it very unreasonable to complain if someone at a latter stage comes along and places bolts on the route (being unaware that you had previously climbed it). To be fair, from reading your post its a little unclear if your refering to the routes you did or didnt write up when you make the comment about the potential/actual retrobolting of your routes. I guess the point im making is that its a case of publish or perish!
