and because the condition of an alpine route may change so much over the course of a season it's grade can only ever be an approximate. it's all a complete shamozle really. i'm also sure the alpinists are making up new acronyms for each route 'cause i've never heard of half of them before...take anthony's route on lagun parron for instance TD+, W3, V+, A2 definitely sounds cool though |
