I think this big merit, and necessity in promoting how safe climbing is (I prefer my chances on the wall than on the highway to get there...). There's also a time and place for us to get each others heads out of the clouds and realise that people get hurt and you have to be careful. Somewhere like chockstone is great for this. It's kinda cool to be able to give it a bit of an 'alrob' 'But doood, its granite and run out!' approach, so we don't get too grim and squeamish

Rich, did you hear about Andy McC's grounder - he was pull testing his second piece. It failed the test, and the momentum threw him off. Dear me!
