Moving to Victoria - need some tips |

Just for variety, I'm going to have an anti offsets rant. I think they suck. Almost every placement I have taken one out of a normal nut would go in better. They look good from the outside but if you look over the top the other side isn't in contact with the rock. For the very small number of places they do go in better than a normal nut, most nuts have offset sides these days that do the job. For beginner trad leaders in particular, they are a pointless complication. I would stick to wild country rocks or dmm walnuts. |
