If you head down to the Halls Gap end at any time [about 40 mins of straight road away] you should check out www.thecrag.com in particular the Halls Gap Area Town Cliffs and Wonderland. http://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/grampians/halls-gap-area There are a number of short accessible cliffs in those areas suitable for top roping. You could try Labour Ward at http://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/grampians/town-cliffs/area/872806533 if you want really basic with bolt protection and lower offs. It's within walking distance of the cafes and ice cream shop! You can contact me via email if you want further info on suitable cliffs around the Halls Gap end. |
