Any of you mountaineering folk able to shed light on....... How long does an expedition take to summit everest and return? Do expeditions allow time for acclimitisation, weather, multiple attempts etc? Is the journey up to base camp, just hiking or does it involve technical climbing/snow shoeing etc? Cheers
