thanks ajfclark. I have a soft visor on my kayaking helmet which is quite handy. It needs 1 side of the Velcro stuck onto the helmet. One handy unintended feature is if you need max visibility you can push the brim up and it will stay up at an angle. When you want shade you can just push it back down again.
