Nothing wrong with a bit of choss, those places I expect a bit of choss and get what I pay for. I guess when I went to Yam I had just come from Yosemite which has huuuuuuge walls with excellent climbing and pretty bloody amazing position/scenery. Yam has nothing on that. What I hadn't done was a lot of good sportier climbing which is what I was looking for (though I could have just waited till Europe - I got my fill there)
