Seating trad gear vs making your partner happy |

I like to seat my gear, no fairy placements for me!
I was quite happy to pull out my nut tool when seconding my partner (whom I did much of my early leading with) and never really thought too much of it. I probably place my gear like he does. The bonus of this is that I will perservere at getting a piece out and have learnt interesting ways to achieve this.
A few of my seconders have more than likely swore at me while trying to extract - still they say they would be happy to lob onto my gear. Cue Sarah.....
