Ah...I get what you are after. Can still jot the routes down on myTracks, upload to google then move the plotted lines over a pre-drawn map. Isnt hard to find something on google images, then retrace in illustrator. If its a b&w image, you can cheat by using the 'quick trace' tool. Takes about 30seconds to do. NB: if you dont have a B&W map for illustrator, photoshop will sort that out for you. I have done exactly what you are in the process of doing for some routes I have charted up this way for the ClimbingNT website.
