Don't go far out of your way for this one. Access is downhill of the Grand Hotel in Warrandyte, where-in the Whipstick Gully Quarry can be found 200m or so beyond the gate on your left. Routes are on the north wall.

Note: A sign states "No person may use this rock face, for any purpose, including abseiling or rock climbing without first obtaining the necessary permit. Please call, in person, to the offices of Warrandyte State Park, Pound Bend Road, Warrandyte. Enquiries Tel: 9844 2659".

"There's not all that much to it ...though a couple of the climbs might be worth trying when bored" - Alex.

"The cliff is short (10m high), the rock is soft and greasy (mud stone) and the climbs were a bit hard to work out exactly what was what. ...The climbing could be OK but personally I thought the pub up the road was a better option" - Robin.
