"You may wish to add a disclaimer under the Ironbark Gorge guide to the effect that climbing is prohibited in the Gorge (hence the chopped bolts, and loose rock). For more information see the Angahook-Lorne State Park management plan at: www.parkweb.vic.gov.au" - Dale Appleton, Ranger, Lorne. Access from Aireys Inlet, 45km southwest of Geelong. Drive north down Bambra road for 2.4km to the Distillery Creek picnic grounds, then go left and very shortly right and park at the end of the tourist facilities. Walk along the road past a gate for 500m, across a bridge and onto the Currawong Falls circuit track. After about 25 minutes you'll find an "unstable cliffs" sign. Descend into the dry creek bed a further 150m on. (See: VCC guide for more details). "Crank And File", the 15m grade 19 (with chopped bolts), starts 2m left of a chimney/corner and 3m right of a large detached butress. Beware loose rock at the top of most lines.
