Like your work a lot Mike, but gee I would love to see what you could nail in the way of climbing shots (particularly easier and intermediate classics which see a lack of attention from photographers).

Excellent work ... but I second Simey's comments. Great photos of easy and intermediate routes are few and far between. I'll be looking forward to some!

absolutley brilliant pics .. what sort of camera did you use, the birds shots obviously taken with a long telephoto lens - what size?

Not trying to imply it's the camera, your skill in compostion (amoung other aspects) is excellent

Your shots with ice, water or fog seem to work really, really well. You need to think about a holiday down here in Tassie Mike. I think you could work wonders with a few days walking aroung Freycinet, Tasman Peninsula, Central Platue etc.

The wildlife was taken with Neil's 200mm F2.8L that I'm holding hostage while he's living it up in Europe. 200 isn't nearly long enough but beggars can't be choosers. You still have to crawl right up to the wilder critters commando style :)

Owen, yeah I'm definately planning a Tassie trip soon when the weather warms up a bit, maybe January? Will keep you posted. I might do a quick run through Cradle and Walls Of J, then head down your way - open to suggestions.

Good-o. Sounds like you've got the alpine areas covered. Tasman peninsula and Freycinet Peninsula are spectacular landscapes. Lots of waves pounding of dark coastlines at TP if your feeling gothic, or green ocean pounding on white and orange granite at FP if you want something more upbeat.

Just got back from Kosciusko. The skiing is all but dead even the x-country. Took the snow shoes, but didn't need them.
