Hi folks, was pointed to this thread by a mate...
wanted to set one (two things actually) thing absolutely straight...
Macpac (and Fairydown) are NOT owned by Kathmandu.
Macpac (and Fairydown) are NOT owned by Jan Cameron.
they are owned by me (Campbell Junor), Bernie Wicht and Pierre van Noorden.
I'm getting a bit tired of ex-retailers spreading BS about this, it is a funny way of attempting to weaken the position of our brand now we sell direct I suppose.
There was a past relationship (I was their designer 10 years ago and Bernie was part owner 14 years ago and going back further was married to Jan...) but we were approached by Bruce McIntyre 15mths back and we only bought it because the bank had faith in us...no cash payments here matey!!
