Does anyone really find that amusing? I used to think those Louder Than 11 twats were just stoned douches who made particularly uninspiring videos - now I know it. I'm not sure where they got the bit about Chris Webb being pissed about the downgrade either, he seemed incredibly reasonable about it on his blog.

i thought it was pretty funny actually, better than the usual generic climbing videos with people going "it's like, such a hard move, man".

All good shows but not as funny as The Vicar of Dibley.

Anyway, I believe the reason behind Carlo Traversi's personal dig at CWP is the fact that CWP is going out with Carlo's ex-girlfriend, Alex Puccio. What better way to get back at CWP than repeat his latest V14, downgrade it to V12 and then make a movie implying that CWP's an overgrader and is pissed about the downgrade, thinly veiled as humour.

All it really does is make Traversi and his mates look like a pack of wankers.

CWP's restrained reply on his blog makes them look even sillier.

Anyway, it's pretty funny having a climbing version of Bold and the Beautiful. I like it and it certainly beats reading endless threads about helmets.

I noticed the news about Chris dating Alex on UKclimbing about 6 weeks back and initially assumed it was a lazy mistake on the author's behalf.

Good to have my suspicions confirmed after watching this movie though. Yanks can be funny, but this puerile attempt at contemporary ironic humour sure aint.

I agree Big Bang Theory is lame. Just have a look at the resume of the executive producer.

Shit. He's responsible for Two and a Half Men, Dharma and Greg, the worst Deborah Harry song ever recorded and he looks like Mario Fenech. He should be charged with crimes against humanity.

His only saving grace is that he wrote the soundtrack for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
