Speaking of snow, was anyone else driving back on the Western Highway last night in the heavy snow storm W of Ballarat?

Doh! Bouldering bloopers - his second removes the first mat, then when it cuts back to the shot, the mat is still there. Still, hard core, great work.

UK Climbing appear to be going in to the video game. Here's a couple of recent hard gritstone things they've put out.

Jordan Buys on his recent first ascent of French Duke (E9 7a) at Earl Crag in Yorkshire. Short & 30+ above dodgy gear at a guess!
http://vimeo.com/2351665
Second and third ascents of The Promise, James Pearson's micro-desperate at Burbage North (originally E10, maybe only E8 now!!) by Americans Alex Honnold and Kevin Jorgeson (not necessarily in that order).

Ground-up ascent of Parthian Shot, the classic John Dunne E9 at Burbage South by Kevin Jorgeson. The "shipwreck of a flake" apparently isn't btw.

Team assault on the classic End of the Affair (E7/8) at Curbar Edge. According to at least one of the Americans it may only be E6!! That's got a few peoples attention over there I can tell you!
