April-May weather at Arapiles

I have been several times before but always around November and am thinking of going again this April. Until how late is the weather normally good? I can't get there until at least April 10. Am I likely to have moderate temperatures (I like at least 15 C and not above about 27 C) for at least 4 weeks?

Weather can be good all year round, winter climbing is great. Mid April is arguably the best time of year at Arapiles, not too hot and still very few rain days. Here is a climate link:

Summer just means you are dodging the sun more, winter just means you are dodging some rain and less daylight.

I am reminded of inland Canterbury.

April is pretty much ideal, except that daylight saving is over, so if you're not an early riser you will lose a lot of good climbing time. My comfort zone for climbing is around 14-24C. Expect it to be fairly cool in the mornings, but a walk to the route will warm you up.

May we have found can be fairly chilly, OK for climbing during the day (if you get up when the birdies sing) but not so much fun for cooking/camping after the sun sets. You'll want a bag/tent/clothing combo that is good for -3 or so, wind chill can be a bit of a bugger.
