This route has appeared on www.thecrag.com between Sidewinder and Groovy (Naja isn't in their dbase), FA Lawry Dermody 21.4.06. Anyone know where it goes relative to Sidewinder, Groovy or Naja? Is it the groove about 5m R of Naja which has had ringbolts in it for years?

just confirming that it is the old justin clark proj. went free at 28 with a batman start.
Apparently ZAc did the moves at the start at some point (which lawry found out afterwards) so the route may still go completely free. According to Lawry "So yeah, it was only a route for a few days, now its a proj again!"

What about the extension to the top... Rip out the half way double rings and make it a 60m+ pitch at around grade 33/34??.... Now that Would be something to aspire to.

good to hear. The moves at the start haven't been done yet but vey feasible, though quite extended.
The climbing up top is awesome, awesome ,awesom. all the moves have been done. probably 34 on the
money with a crazy, body power start. It is very much an open project. have fun!!!

The route(bit) Lawry climbed is still a totally worthy way to spend a day or a few. There's plenty more
contrived things out there on which the climbing doesn't rank in the same league.
