Ummm, I clipped all the bolts and climbed to the chain.....if the 'correct way' to do the route involves specific moves and a complicated set of directions, maybe it's contrived as well as overgraded!

no, then it would be contrived but graded correctly.

One 24 move on a 23 route which has lots of rests still only makes 24 :)

Easy there M9! The way I did it is 23, the contrived way Neil claims it should be done apparently adds one 24 move above a good rest. Therefore the hardest, most contrived way to do the route will be worth 24 and the way everyone will do it is still only 23. Next week, I hope it will be 22 :)
