Gutted I had to bail from halfway up Heathcliff. Second couldn't follow, and third slashed their leg when the second fell and didn't want to climb (still made us look very unfit on the walk out though, he cycles to uni).
(Shiny new bail biner booty now at top of the first pitch of Boadicia)
Also found out the night before that the room I had lined up to rent was no longer available, after the current roommates had a falling out. Need to start looking again for a place to stay this semester! Gutted.
Gutted that there is now over 8m of base at most of the Tahoe resorts (with between 30cm and 1m falling every night for the last week!) but I can't get up there because the roads keep closing! Why can't the snow just fall on the resorts, and leave the roads navigable?? Mother Nature is so inconsiderate!!!!

It might be considered bad form in some social circles (damn puritans) but sometimes you just have to steal a car! If caught you might even get a free flight home...
Gutted.
On the second lap of the Malaysian MotoGP at Sepang, Marco Simoncelli was involved in a crash and died as a consequence of injuries received.
My sympathies go to his family, friends, and the racers and crews of the extended MotoGP 'family', who this incident has understandably shocked.
He was a rider who was just coming into his own time in the top echelon of motorcycle racing, and was a really well liked personality amongst that group.

He's not cursing for the lack of other options, more for the fact that he created a dream x-box climbing wall that was so real that he never had to climb a wall.
Rain f'cked with his wiring and turned the monstrosity into paper mache, and now he"s left with something in his backyard who's only function is to attract aliens.
