Went there once or twice and froze my butt off. Not my idea of fun! I prefer to go to the warmer climates like Spain and so on ;-)

Well well - if it isn't the lovely Mister Caple. Yep, London has demanded most of my attention till quite recently. It's a full-on place. Looking forward to winding up and getting out being an unemployed bum with no direction other than climbing. Keen to be sunning my pasty white skin in Euroland and then getting back to the mother country. If you're lucky sir, I might consider popping into NSW ;-)

i would like to freeze my butt off on some of this grit stuff, but spain certainly sounds like a good time!!

Josh, climbingjac is right, grit is shit. stanage is an over rated Mount Keira. Note the big K gets capitals and that hill side permafrosted swamp gets none.

There you go Joshie, the UK might prove to be disappointing for you. You might care to review your plans carefully...

Good move. I lived there for 8 years before moving here. Not a good place a be a climber unless you love plastic. Fine if you're young, affluent and like partying all the time tho.
