I am so stoked that after years of dreaming and months of planning I am on the train to the airport to climb the totem pole, talk is cheap on mount brown and pole dancer.
Fingers crossed for good weather :)

Verbally tore a priest a new arsehole last night. He was ok with his biblical quotes but no idea of the catechism, Aquinas or Canons. He kept saying "how dare you speak to me like this" my reply "love comes and goes hate lasts forever".

I'm stoked.

Mt Buffalo put on one of those rare displays of scenic majesty at sunrise, plus the following half hour, this morning.

Viewing The Cathedral from a distance often obscures it somewhat with The Hump in the background; but this morning had a rare display of low hugging cloud / mist, that was like an ocean shore lapping at it proudly lit up by early sunlilght, and graphically delineating all its facets from all other distractions.

The cloud at times swirled to twice its height in slow motion breaking wave fashion, but never advanced sufficiently NW to hide The Cathedral entirely, and so it remained as an awsome monument to an architecture/display that is not really possible to put into words...

... It remains a vision that will remain in my memory bank for a long time to come.

Not many stoked campers this year..

but I am..

1 - As of last Monday, after a long and painful 2 years, I can get my drivers licence back (that route I have been eying off on Ball's Pyramid is a goner)

2 - Went bouldering in Cowra, at a new spot, and actually climbed something that wasn't an easy lichen covered slab.

3 - Bought a new tent and actually like it.

4 - The Rabbbitohs are in the top 4.

Yeah - only that was me getting stoked to get back there after 2 years, and now we are really stoked because we can look at the routes mentioned in that post.
Expect another 'Stoked' update in two years or so maybe . . .
