I have a choice 19mm lead rope thats 43m long. Blood soiled by some of Vic's strongest climbers... its a collectors item. Only just fits through a gri-gri so giving slack is problematic. It has a fluffy appearence so makes a great pillow.

I think I gave my last rope to Neil to cover in glue - apparently (when it gets enough glue on it) he's going to do an Indian Rope trick at the next chockstone gathering.. ; )

I've got some old accessory cord to sell to Neil as his next rap line.... 7mm (bit more with the fuzz) & about 8m long (probably 10m on stretch). perfect for the youies.

about that rope rupert... i was taking 6m+ falls on it the other day for some pics. It was in better nick than my 'lead' rope. Thank god Kent took it off me and forced me to use his flashy new Beal one.

You're a braver man than I am then! I'm glad to hear Kent intervened.

Count me in on the second gathering.

The popular vote went to design 8. Good to hear you're still alive Benny! Hope the NZ trip went well.

Things are happening, but it's fairly complicated given there's money to be fronted and, hopefully, recovered and several people involved. When I have some definiate news I'll be sure to post it but at this stage we are still making plans.

Damn, CFA training. Wont get there early but should be able to make it by about 11.00am. I was thinking of running a bouldering circuit. There are a couple of problems at the eastern outcrop and we could work back to the Omega Block, where the main concentration of boulder problems (and climbs) are. Anyone interested!

I may be interested Robin. Though I thought it might be novel to tie into a rope again after all these years!

Hey Robin if you don't mind mate count me in for the bouldering, my rope work is pretty ordinary, so if I am going to be laughed at I rather have my arse closer to the ground, looking forward to it .....
