A ROCK climber has been killed in a 15 metre fall in the Blue Mountains.
Police say the 53-year-old man, who was with a group of climbers, fell 15m to his death at Mount York, west of Sydney, about 1pm (AEDT) today.
There were no suspicious circumstances, a police spokesman said.

Mousey --- I found this pearla ... a rare view of the ' approach ' to the Col of Patience ( left on skyline ) , where we will climb to , to dig a snow cave for use on the descent ... our ascent route (5 Years In Paradise 20+&A2+) goes straight up the East face above the triangular-snow-field (on the right ) and finishes up the ' Bridwell Pitch ' on the Compressor Route ( Left Skyline ) ... we will then rap , but not chop, the bolts of The Compressor Route , to the rum-ballz & beef-jerky stash waiting at the snow-cave ... then snow-board down the ' approach ' ... while getting some sick fkn ' air ' as we hurtle over the ' shund ... and hence to BC ...
I suggest we seriously look to ACTUALISING --- (see Maslowz theory on the ordering of human motivation,1945) --- this project during January, 2007 ..........yeah ?....YEAH !!!
