I have just finished the lesson planning for my second 'Belay Beatch' course, and I've selected you as the most promising student. Over three days you will learn the joys of belaying, get a cramped neck, try to get my placements out of the wall and qualify in that elusive and esteemed skill: rope coiling. I can put that qualification in writing if you like. However, it is not for this alturistic reason that I'm offering my time and services (I have other commitments, such as creating a placard to wave in protest at Onsight's book launch). It's rumoured that you provide campground services which make the girls at the Daily Planet blush. And like the saying goes, only a man truly knows how to please another man...
