...now if ya look closely, you will see a 100 ft type of 'totem pole' on the fore-ridge, between the'2' and the '3' ... this was by-passed during the ' sit start ' ascent ... hmmmmmmmmmm ....
Note the massive corner/dihedral on the left side of Cerro Torre East face ... a Whillans box-tent still sitz proudly inside the ' crack' ...

... and shock/horror, guys !!! ... thatz a chicky-babe ... she made it to the summit of Cerro Torre even with 3 broken ribs, after a block of ice fell off the compressor ... which is not far above ...

Never got into english beer myself (Jamaican rum is my thing.) Currently nursing a savage cold while trying to get all our stuff packed for shipping. I'll be home a week next Tuesday and hopefully standing a round at the pub in Natimuk in the New Year.
