Yes...significant ... defiantly no wire-brushes at this place ... and conversely... isn't there some place in the 'States where the in-juns have paid contractors to bolt all the crack-climbs...if one can bolt a crack ... and then tourons pay to climb these routes ?...

Not troll-burly but a late mid-life-crisis nostalgia-thingy perhaps?
(Besides climbau is in a canoe doing the Murray top to bottom at the mo).
Know some people in my local area who are going back to the bike thing after having been out of it for a number (read 10+) of years.
I see the gleam in their eye and think; "yeah, ... I know that feeling too, wouldn't mind rekindling it ...".
KTM make a nice 950cc 'adventure' road/trail tourer ...
http://www.ktm.com.au/bike.php?bike=28
Should be OK for 2 up and a rucksack full of trad gear. The bendy road up to Buffalo would take on new meaning ...
One of my mates (not a climber) wakes the call by recently getting a KwakerZed (retro2thamax ... remember the movie Stone?) ...
The cafes within NE Vic / high country are located strategically and our wives have not opposed the idea ... as long as they get to pillion, ... though another I know of has already got her own bike.
... price of petrol and all that, are good arguments for going to work on it too ...
Wonder if mikl still thinks bikes are a good thing. He was into Ducatis if I recall correctly.
