As for tricks to remembering comparisons with routes, this is what I use
US:. 5.1 - 5.9, just add 8 (approx), then
. 5:10 and above, remember tha a's and work it out from there:
10a = 18,
11a = 22,
12a = 25,
13a = 28,
14a = 32

Passport would be 5.12 & Shark would be 5.13 ...

Passport has had a few female ascents ... does that alter the extrap-or-lations?:P

this is quite funny hehe

serious issuses arefor serious threeads (eg. rebolting)

the rest of the shit is for the rest of the shit...

the cool shit like ethics and philosophies of climbing are way better talked about at the campfire or at the crag or at the ivanhoe, so upon the internet unleash your anarchism lads and gentleladies- if you're offended then try remembering that its the internet and it doesnt matter and then stop visiting the forums dumbass!
and why would i want to read about climbing stuff like 'you know your a climber when...' followined by 17 pages of everyones nearlyidentical 2c...if i wanted to know i was a climber i would just go climbing, the shit that gets talkd about on forums in a gayattempt to make it avbout climbingis justfarken ridiculous...check out rc.com if ya dont beloeve me. hopefully the disintegration ofthe forums into anarchy will lead to morepeople quitting their shithouse jobs and going climbing!!!
i have a dream, and it involves everyone and their wives and children all living recieving financial benefits and cragging, surfing and having crazy sex (except the children-whowill be belaying) all day and night. and computers will onlybe used for selling photographs andmaking fun of wierdos who hang out on forums and think thatthey're serious. and everyone will have sick dreadlocks and give each other really big spliffs to smoke....thats it im crashin, and tomorrow im going climbing,AGAIN!
