'...I don't think it is as cut and dry and 'do' or 'don't' Phil. I did think that some of your previous 'blood on the rocks' ect photos were a little creepy and not really of any value. You have a tendency to get very animated and enthustaic (about everything). Perhaps you just need to tone it down - record a few moments but don't run around filming everyone and everything as close-ups. Sitting back a distance from the event and filming with the zoom lens is more sensible and better for all involved. The SES obviously appricates the the documentation but try and give others the respect they need. In the after shock of a serious accident everything hangs in the air. No one knows if the person will come out of it ok and if i was a friend of the injured climber and i didn't know you i imagine i would also be annoyed at your intrusion. If someone says no - then stop filming immediatly...'
