A5 & dalai --- you are both waffle-ing off-topic on the top ozy climber thread --- can you either start a new thread or continue your joyous-banter on the new PM functionality instead ...

I agree with A5 - not off topic.

Topic had progressed further to debate different styles and comparing those to see who may be Ozy's top climber in other than sport...

While obviously not an 'Ozy' , I reckon Hot Henry Barber ,1975, rates as the greatest top/all-round climber to have touched Oz-rock ...

Thanx for your joyous reply, dalai --- I agree with your sentiment --- HOWEVER --- the issue I raise is ... obviously still a bit too futuristic for some ...

Mike --- thank-you for providing a fantastic forum/site where all things climbing can be discussed/disgust/dissected/digested ; but also for providing an opportunity for a bizarrely-varied bunch of peoples to engage with the ever-evolving-broader-scale-techno-communications-ethics/morals, which are now a ' normal ' part/challenge of every-day&night-life , in a rapidly-becoming-unrecognizable Oztralia ?...

I'm suprised people aren't laying into damo a bit more... 'tis open season afterall, as Damo can't be considered a 'forum member' when he's been evicted....

The reality is that Damo was/is highly derivative of Hexy anyway ; hence his ' banishment ' as the pressure to compete pushed him right off the edge of said poxy-boulder... The stern-faces of the now many moderators looking into the petri-dish all the time is also a bit potentially dysFUNctionalising --- shock-horror !!! --- what will wittle moderwators think of MM & rodw bantering-joyously about key-boards & snortin' ?? !!

Go on Hexy – why not humor us a bit (with your wisdom).

Anyway, thanks Hex for expanding our consciousness for different ways of looking at the medium – if not for showing some (twits) other ways of using it. Years ago I found the book “Four Arguments for the Elimination of Television” a very fascinating read. Nothing has changed of course. As I’ve said before, I find THIS medium an invaluable alternative… etc. etc. Might as well settle in for the long-hall. And humor – is that what they call that valve there on the side of the cauldron pressure-cooker? Gee, don’t anyone close that one off! Genuine attacks are something else though – and usually easy to spot the difference, I’d have though.
